The local Hawaiians that live in the small populated islands such as Molokai, Lanai and Kauai don't want to have too much traffic. They want to keep it small. The traffic in Kauai is especially bad. Maui is already becoming like Oahu. Oahu's population is well over 1 million on such a small island. If there was a bridge to be built between all the islands. Many people would move to the less populated areas. The Hawaii Super Ferry is already causing havoc with the residents because of the same reason. Others No. The price tag would be horrific.
