Which place would be better to move to?

Travel Info
We want to move to Texas sometime in the next couple of years, but arent sure which city to move to. Houston, Dallas, San Antonio or Austin? Which has the least crime, is the most affordable, child friendly, clean, most to do, warm all year, safest, all around best? I'm leaning towards Houston, but havent been hearing the best of things about it. My bf wants to go to Dallas, but I dont wanna live that far away from the ocean. (we currently live in San Diego) Any suggestion would be great.

Travel Tips
Houston is close to the ocean but it's very high in crime. I think Austin would be the best city for less crime. San Antonio is also great I just love that city! Now if u want to live near the ocean in a nice city with not that much crime I would say Corpus Christi, Tx.

Hi,
Have you visited Kerala State in India ? Goa state in India ? These are the best holidays spot in the world.

Next time, visit Goa and North Kerala in India. Season in Goa starts from October and ends in June. But In Kerala the season starts in August and ends in June. Also you can enjoy Monsoon showers in Kerala during July, August and September.

God Bless you,

Sincerely,
Rajeev.
Houston does have a high crime rate and also it isn't at all like San Diego. It is hot and humid in the Summer and the crime rate is terrible. You couldn't pay me to live there. I personally don't like Dallas, or San Antonio. Once again, high crime and it gets too hot. The Austin area is nice, but also the property is expensive. The cost of living is pretty high in Austin. Houston is nothing like San Diego as far as living by the ocean. The Gulf of Mexico is a lot different than the Pacific Ocean. Your weather in San Diego is a lot different. I seriously doubt that you would like it. I don't know why you two are wanting to move, but if you are wanting the climate somewhat like San Diego, you will not find it in Texas, especially around the Houston area. I personally would rather live in San Diego as far as the weather and overall climate in comparison to your choices.

Houston is twice as humid as S. Dakota.
I live in El Paso and I like it here. It is a high desert and we don't get very humid overall and the Winter here is very mild. Property here is reasonable in comparison to the other large cities of the state. Also, with living here, I am only 12 hours from San Diego, L.A. and only about 10 hour from Denver and the Dallas, Ft. Worth area. I also would suggest the Ft. Worth area and with that, the area just North by Northwest of Ft. Worth. I know, San Diego is very expensive. I have been there. Austin is becoming the same way and Houston is headed in that direction. Just North of San Antonio is nice, but that too is getting to be expensive.
Austin, that is if you actually wanna move to Texas. I lived there briefly once. It's actually really pretty. California is better though.
