Travel Info What are some of the nicer, more romantic hotels in Galveston? Travel Tips definitely dont stay at the flag ship it is over priced and most of the rooms smell as old as the hotel is i have stayed thier on 2 diffrent occasions and it was the most horrible i have ever had the bathrooms were disgusting its was bad it is over the water but is that really worth it there are 2 very nice hotels that i have stayed at which is the san luis resort which is awesome and historic built on old bomb bunkers that are still there which is also very close (walking distance) to ihop rainforest cafe and landrys (oyster rockafeller awesome there) if ur into the historic part of the city go down to the strand there is an awesome antique place at harbor side and 20th they have a lil bit of everything there and the best restaurant on the strand and in most of galveston is Lecroys on the strand between 20th and 21st the owner is awesome i had a pleasure of meeting him hes straight out of louisiana and is a riot best food on the strand sorry the other hotel is the victorian its very nice as well Good luck and best wishes Others I have a list of such good and cheap Hotels. The hotels in galveston are not very nice. The coolest on is the flag ship inn, it is built on a pier out over the water. It's really cool at night and there is a really good restaurant right across the street, It's called fish tails. If you like shrimp try the shrimp kisses they are AWSOME! For a more romantic setting, i would suggest a bed and breakfast. I have never stayed in a hotel in galveston since i live so close, but my co-worker goes to Galveston every other month with his wife and they stay at the Flagship which is built over the water and they absolutely love it. They go for anniversary and valentines!! They say it is awesome!! Visit my web http://www.ytb.com/caribbeantoursandtrav... and choice the best. http://www.ytb.com/caribbeantoursandtrav... |
