Houston nightlife for older crowd?

I frequently travel to Houston for work and I was wondering where a good place to go would be for an older crowd? Im 37 and pretty much done with the club/hipster scene but still want to go and have some fun, dancing / meeting people. It seems that downtown is mostly very hip clubs with younger crowd. Any ideas?

most of the clubs are for the younger crowds, for the 30s and up, it's just bars..maybe sherlocks, they have a good varity,
