Travel Info Is there a 2 $ movie theather in Houston that play moderately recent movies?? Travel Tips YES! There is one in Pearland off of 518 that shows great new release movies. It's called Pearland Westside Cinema 6. We go there a lot, actually whenever we pay to see a move, that's where we go. They also have good prices on the treats. We are a family of 6, so that can really add up. The kids love it because I say yes to several items for them. Matinee $ is $2, general admin. is $4, still a great deal. It is an older theater, but that doesn't bother us. You just pay big bucks for all the glitz of the big ones and when the lights are turned down, you never know the difference! It is on Alief Clodine just before Highway 6 (coming from the beltway). i thot there were only $1 movie theaters that are now $1.50... :( .... are they 2 now and i didnt even noticed? ... and where exactly is this theater on alief clodine. ? would like to check it out.....
