Location: U.S. Hwy. 59 North and Kingwood Drive 24 miles northeast of downtown Houston Size: 15,000+ acres Year Opened: 1970 Current Population: 65,000 Project Population at Build Out: 70,000 Total Number of Homes: 20,000 Others My colleague lives in Kingwood, it's a very nice neighborhood as far as I know, I'm sure if you go online you can find lots of info on it Kingwood...a very sheltered place in the boonies Its really far from Houston,your gas bill is going to be huge if you work in the city. kingwood is a nice place, family oriented out of the city and very peaceful, if you enjoy country with city benefits you will love it. humble is about 5 miles south and you will find restaurants, shopping mall and your basic stores, and if you travel about 5miles north you will find small country towns with cheap rent, king wood is a bit pricey and humble is a little of every price range and top schools |
