Any good place in AP for hiking??

For hiking in and arnd Hyd, I can only think of nagarajuna sagar.

Probabaly what you should do is drive until Nagarjuna sagar ( it will take about 3 hrs) and get started from there. You could use the route to ethipothala project (water falls) for hiking. Don't expect too much out if it, but you will have fun.

And do make sure that you go when the weather is nice and cool. I have done nagarjuna sagar for couple of lazy weekends just to go there and relax..... The AP tourism cottages r nice and quite cheap.

yes, you can stay at hotel or at lodge depending your budget.If you want fancy go for abids area otherwise nampally and secunderabad also good places.
go to nagarjun sagar or go and explore the golkonda fort ( its huge, vast and demands courage to explore it fully )
