Travel Info
I have to transit at Indianapolis Greyhound bus station at night for several hours. How safe is the place?

Travel Tips
Any bus station has some inherent danger and downtowns of cities, too. But as cities go, Indy is safer than most. You could lock up your luggage in a locker and go to the circle center mall 3 blocks north, many restaurants and shops, or there is fast food close. White Castle is across the street or Steak N Shake 2-3 blocks north, both are 24 hrs. Source(s): Born and raised in Indy

Other Travel Tips
You'll find out when you get there.

GOOD LUCK
Indy is a safe place and a great city.
I have never had any problems but have never had to wait for more than an hour. Just keep your personal belongings close and keep a watchful eye and definitely don't look scared or nervous. It really isn't that bad plus there is security.
i used to live in indpls, and the terminal is in a very safe location with security. so don't worry.
