What`s the Indianapolis area weather like from Best toWorse ? |
Travel Info relocating to metro area can some people give some feedback.Summer to winter ,strorms,snow, sunny nice days tell it all Travel Tips Spring - Storms mixed temps. beautiful tulips, daffodils and crocuses. Summer - Hot and humid with cool breezes. swimming and Sunflowers. Fall - Cool . The leaf change to orange red and yellow. Winter - Mild gets cold after the holidays, Maybe a couple of good snow falls. We have all four seasons with I like! Others I live 45 minutes north northwest of Indy...I have 2 sisters and my father who live in the city. The winters can be nasty as far as getting around if they've had alot of snow....especially the side streets...They did get one heckuva ice storm last year that knocked out power to alot of customers. They had a near tornado as well that blew out several windows of a highrise in the downtown. We get all 4 seasons here....hot, humid summers mostly, beautiful spring and falls...and sometimes nasty winters. It definitely snows...and sometimes quite a bit. We've had a few blizzards in the state. But our street people do put down salt, unlike some other states like Tennessee....they try to get the roads cleared fairly quickly. The murder rate though in Indy this year has been on the rise...as of July or August as many people were murdered already than were murdered the previous year....But the COLTS RULE!!!
