What are Westfield Washington schools like (Westfield, IN)? |
Travel Info Looking to relocate to the Indy area, I've heard that Hamilton Southeastern Schools are great but I was wondering about other school districts. . .such as Westfield Washington schools? Are they comparable? Good schools? Alright schools? How is that area (Westfield) in general? Thanks! Travel Tips Westfield Washington schools are good and getting better. Property taxes are extremely high in Washington Township compared with Carmel which is relatively low considering the amount of affluence in the Carmel Clay school district. Hamilton Southeastern, Carmel, Zionsville continually rank at the top of the entire state of Indiana and very very high nationally. As I mentioned previously Westfield is an up and coming suburb with substantial growth potential. My parents live in Oak Park (161st St. between Oak Rd. & Carey Rd.) and they love it. Where will you be working in the Indianapolis Metro Area? Commuting times vary depending on which suburb you choose to live, and how much access you have to main thoroughfares. Bottomline if you want great schools, great communities, high appreciation returns on homes, etc. move to the northern suburbs of Indianapolis in Hamilton County. Specifically Carmel, Westfield, Zionsville, Fishers, Noblesville. Hamilton County is the most affluent and fastest growing county in the state and in the top 20 on a national level. You can find homes in this area anywhere from $120,000 to $6,000,000 so take your pick!! Others My cousin is a teacher at Westfield but her daughter went to Noblesville. Hamilton Southeastern is a huge school but very good Carmel and Noblesville are both very good schools http://www.doe.state.in.us/publications/... I used to live in the Indy area and still do business there鈥egularly鈥?I help supply resources to build and design those designer homes from $125,000- $6million dollar houses while going to school at IU as an adult. However I chose to live in the south central area of the state with my children.(school is what you make of it as a student and a parent) 鈥?I still have nephews, and nieces there in Indy 116-196street,Carmel,Zionsvill... what I compassionately call 鈥淒oghouse Ville鈥?were every up and coming single adult and parent (Rent the DVD or you can up load on your ipod the up and coming "yuppies gone wild" video it was taped there) have moved to this area of Indy鈥?br /> these parents and children are either working to make the 3H payments= house, hummer, and housekeeper or traveling spending the money that they made in their farm sales to the developers... so the dogs are the only persons actually living in the homes... A lot of times this uppity mind set is reflect in their (yuppies gone wild) little mini me鈥檚 that are attending the area schools鈥?br /> at Noblesville high school were my niece has been verbally assaulted with inter racial remarks about being black and white and assumed she was poor鈥?the admin. teaches/advisors have just turn there backs about these type of issues鈥aying it was her wearing her felling on her sleeves and this has been discouraging for my niece. However when the young high school adult student who had actually put her down, started alot of rumors kept my niece out of her locker by standing in front of it and picking verbal fights, that students mother had to go to work as a cleaning lady in my sister (caucasian) cleaning business to make ends meet鈥y niece got the last laugh (of course she did keep this to herself on the downlow because she didn鈥檛 want to drop to the tuating students low level鈥?get it鈥here are a few bad apples every where you go鈥ood luck in chosing your apple crate wisely... I am having fun writing this for the most part..as sad as it is In all seriousness though it is a good area for investment and wonderful area to live and go to school. there are a lot opportunity there鈥emember... they put their paints the same as you one leg at time鈥?br /> build with stone! Welcome to Indiana! |
