Just Wondering..

Travel Tips
Well I have lived in Indiana since I was born and its a nice place to live. It is a grat place to raise a family. I always hear how boring it is in Indiana but I don't believe it is boring at all. Maybe the people who say these types of things are boring people. I never run out of things to do. Maybe if you are lazy its boring there are many parks, lakes and museums to go and explore. One of my favorite things to do is canoe and hike at Turkey Run State park. Its a blast!!! If you have never visited you should.

i absolutally love it [ =
Alot of rural areas. Meth labs in those rural areas. Outlet malls. Lots of lakes to swim, fish, and canoe in. Northeast Indiana has an amusement park, several (101) lakes, outlet malls, nice campgrounds.
Too much corn, very boring, not much to do, very small, not a whole lot of fun, etc...

And yet, I wouldn't trade it for the world. It's my home and always will be.
Indiana is very boring and dirty. A lot of industries in Indiana killed a lot people from cancer and heart disease. Shoppings are very lousy in Indiana but very nice to trip to Chicago. Indiana has no mountain! I hate tornadoes in Indiana!
Kokomo sucks and so far Fort Wayne is not a whole lot better. I spent most of my life in Kokomo and got tired of the righteous attitude most everyone has. We have only been in Fort Wayne a few weeks and are having a hard time finding jobs, once that hurdle is over I am sure the city will be better. I do like that there are a ton more activities for my family and for just my husband and I. We cannot wait to get back to our date nights.
As with any state in the US, there are good points about Indiana and bad points about Indiana. I grew up in the Indianapolis area. Although I have been out of Indiana for 12 years now, it is where I was born and raised and will always be home. It really depends on what kind of lifestyle you are looking for.

Northern Indiana is more flat and has a lot of agriculture. I personally like southern Indiana better. Bloomington is a great university town. There is a lot of good caves in southern Indiana is you enjoy going caving. There are a lot of great lakes, parks, camping, fishing, canoeing. I enjoyed every moment of my child hood doing these things.

With the exception of Indianapolis, there is not much urban/city life. Most of Indianapolis is really suburban lifestyle as all of Marion county is consider to be Indianapolis, but there is still quite a bit of farmland inside the city limits, and each section of the city is really just a suburb.

I've lived in many other places over the years and if given the chance I would go back to Indianapolis area....just outside of Marion county......maybe Greenfield.... because for me it is a balance between the simple life that I prefer on a day to day basis and close enough to the city that when I want to I can go and enjoy Indianapolis, Chicago, or Cincinnati.
