How to promote bali clubbing scene for tourist destination ? |
Travel Info Using clubbing scene in bali as main attraction, please explain how to promote the area (bali) as tourist destination Travel Tips I agree with the previous answerer, Bali is not about the clubbing scene, it ain't Miami. But with the recent developments in the Seminyak and Kuta areas, it seems that a lot of people go to Bali for the clubs. Anyways, here are a few suggestions: - Partner up with the hottest clubs in Bali, cause they tend to invite world class attractions/DJ's for special events, and that always attracts a lot of tourists (especially from Australia, Singapore, HK, Thailand). - Work with the local government when they do their Bali travel promos, to include bali clubbing scenes as part of their promos, in addition to the temples and beaches. Bali Tourism Board and Bali Tourism Authority could be a great start. - Do a roadshow to neighboring countries where a lot of their citizens travel to Bali and promote it there. Some villa developers in bali have done that and have proven quite a success. Singapore is usually a fave stop for the roadshow. - Make sure the clubs in Bali are actually safe, and show it! Recent bombings in Bali have occurred in the clubs/bars/restaraunts at late hours, so tourists are scared away by this factor. Others hi there !! i've been to bali !! its paradise !! oh yeah, i know, the clubbing scene in bali is not so crowded. i think its bcoz of the bombings. heres my idea: offer discount vouchers to every hotel nearby. hire dance gals to dance on peak hours on every weekends. offer incentives for cabs drivers who recommend ur place. hire musical bands emphasize fun fun funnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn !! im serious and i love indonesia. im a fan of indonesia. I don't think the Indonesian/Balinese govt would not support/accept/like it... Bali is supposed to be associated with stunning landscapes unique cultures and arts that you can't find anywhere else in the world. not a typical partying island you find in other places in the world like phuket n others but yea to answer you question if you are a manager, make commercials saying Bali is the epicenter of Clubbing/partying or spread by words.. No need to promote. Bali is already a very popular destination for bunch of tourist with limited budget. The JI's already promoted them by bombing it in 2002. |
