I'm also wondering why ......

Most Indonesian still live in poverty, so many of them choose to become foreign worker. One of the biggest Indonesian foreign worker is in Malaysia where there they become some problem because Malaysian government accuse many of them enter their country illegaly. And Malaysian people don't like them because the foreign worker has take their field of work. Not long time ago, this problem has worsening the relationship between the two country.
I'm Indonesian
It's never good to generalize; even worse to cast blame on any ethnic group for wrongdoing of some.

I lived in Kuala Lumpur for a few years and many of the major crimes (murders, CBT, frauds, rapes) reported in the media are committed by Malaysians themselves - these involved high ranking politicians, professionals, even policemen and the military.

Malaysians - rich & poor, educated & uneducated - pollute the environment like no place on earth. They will throw their trash from highrise apartments, from the vehicle they are in, into the streets and public areas.

Malaysians park their cars indiscriminately anywhere at their convenience without consideration for others.

These are only some unpleasant habits of Malaysians - ALL Malaysians - young and old from the main races.
Malaysia, with population of 17 million (CMIIW), needs low-cost labors to build the country's infrastructure and to work in plantations. Hence, the Malaysian government welcomes unskilled, mostly uneducated workers from neighboring country of Indonesia, a country with 250 million people - most of them are still living below the poverty line - as well as Bangladesh and some other countries.

When criminal acts related to these foreign workers soar the Malaysian government feel that the situation is out of hand put the blame onto the workers by detaining, returning & banning the workers. Illegal workers are actually a prove that Malaysian government has not done their homework on the immigration procedures, CMIIW.

However, I believe the Malaysian government cannot afford to lose these workers. Without them not a single Malaysian is willing to endanger himself to build a skyscraper or work in the plantations with the same wage as the Indonesian or Bangladeshi workers.

Besides, KL taxi drivers are no better than those criminals in the streets of KL when it comes to extorting tourists for the high-priced fare. Beware of them!
Personal experience.
same.....

Indonesians blame Malaysians because they export they're terrorist Mastermind Noodin M Top to make and plan bombs to scare tourists going to Indonesia so they'd go to Malaysia....doesn't any Malaysian feel ashamed? doesn't the Malaysian government do something like help? why doesn't he bomb Malaysia and place like Genting Highlands since Casinos are "Haram" in Islamic Laws (and Indonesia doesn't even have casinos)? so does that mean he work for the Malaysian tourism board?

doesn't labour workers help Malaysian and help build Malaysia? while TERRORIST MASTERMINDS kill people by planning and making BOMBs and make Indonesia seem like a scary place to visit? Thank you that we have bomb seasons (sarcastic)....Think about what you export before you talk...
