Does anyone know anything about the Jakarta International School (JIS)? |

For elementary grades, you have to pay USD 10,000 per year! the school is good but the reputation and fee bad, havent talk about their ways of teaching. bahhh It depends what kind of education you're looking for. It is one of the best (and most expensive) international schools in Jakarta. It follows an international curriculum drawing on American influences and covers from age 3 through to 18. Academically very good, kids can get a high school diploma, an international baccalaurate or advanced palcement ineternational diploma. One negative for me is that it doesn't impose a uniform code, kids can wear what they like. Anyhow, Jakarta offers a wide range of international quality schools, English, Australian, New Zealand, French, Singaporean, Japanese etc... http://www.jisedu.org/ From what I heard is, it's a school for foreign kids and teenager who live in Indonesia. I forgot, did they have kindergarden - high school? The school fee per month is also quite high... I'm not sure, it's just from what I heard, that you can't study there if you're fully Indonesian (both parents are from Indonesia). One of your parents must be a foreigner. The sure thing is the fee per month is verh high than other private school... mostly it's foreigner who study there. hi JIS or jakarta international school. they have a branch in kelapa gading north jakarta. By far it's the most expensive international school in Jakarta. If you are looking to spent too much in your education then go for it. recently there are more international schol opened in jakarta. with more decent education fee and more diverse pupils. good luck! |
