But, if u insist, it might be about 175,000 Rupiahs to 225,000 Rupiahs The taxi nowadays don't use the argometer anymore. U have to bargain and negotiate Source(s): // Other Travel Tips I dont think you can do it with common taxi, because Bandung is 2 hours drive from Jakarta, considered as neighbouring city. Common taxi do not have license to drive that far. I suggest you to rent a car. Normal calculation for 2 hours drive taxi will be around IDR 200,000 (USD 18)...could be more tho... good luck take a private car which functioning as a cab ( take a look around to someone who offered you a cab, but be suspicous also to them!), but carefull, make a negotiation first, then get a reasonable bargain my be 200. 000 max, if you are lucky, 150.000, but currently is higher than that. With common cab, will be more than 200.000 since the cost is always increased every year. Taxi fare is IDR 3500 per km. The Airport to Bandung is about 150 km (via toll road). So it will be around IDR 525,000. I suggest you to take a bus (Damri) from the airport to Gambir train station (bus fare about IDR 14,000). And take an executive class train to Bandung (train fare is about IDR 160,000). Much cheaper and much safer. Don't take a taxi, and definitely don't take a non(illegal)taxi. The real taxi will cost a fortune by Indonesian standards and the fake taxi could cost you much more (everything on you and your life). What you want to do is exit the terminal and turn left when you get out to the sidewalk. Ignore all the people trying to pull you into taxis, they only want to rob you. Walk to the bus stop (Bis Damri) just a dozen yards from the terminal exit. Get on a bus going to Gambir or Blok M, those are two major bus stations in Jakarta with frequent service to Bandung. The bus ride will cost you $1-2US. Once you get to Blok M or Gambir Station find a bus Labled Bandung and get on it. That bus will cost you a few more dollars. Or you can take a train from Gambir to Bandung, but it can get sketchy... don't take a cab, you can take a bus that stops in the airport for almost every hour, it's called PRIMAJASA the fare is Rp.60000 (around 6 US dollars). the bus will stop in Bandung Supermall. ps : just ask people in the airport where's the stand for Primajasa Bus ^_* Good luck |
