What is Ancol and Dunia Fantasy and Sea World in Jakarta? Are they at the same place? |
Travel Info Is one day enough to spend there? Travel Tips Ancol is the area where dunia fantasy and sea world stands. Ancol is the area and there is this big land called ancol bay area, to enter ancol bay area, you pay 10.000 Rp for 1 person and another 10.000 for a car (10.000 is like 1,2 dollar) then inside ancol there is dunia fantasi (theme park like disneyland), sea world (well the huge fish tanks..you know this one i bet), pasar seni (art gallery, enter for free), gelanggang samudra (various type of swimming pools) , 4 dimension theater etc... you have to pay additional to enter those place. one day is enough... unless you bring kids...they would wanna play many attraction in Dunia fantasi (short DUFAN) Dufan have more playthings then Disney Hongkong Others Well, Sea world is truly different than the other two. Location is a little bit far away. While ancol and Dunia fantasy is the same place. One days at ancol maybe is enough for ancol... but without sea world. Well, not so impressive place as long as i can say (as Indonesian), but jus try to visit Ancol first...there are some site about Indonesia traditionals tribe (houses, etc). Enjoy your time...have a nice day! They are in the same site, which are Taman Impian Jaya Ancol (Jaya Ancol Dream Park). When you enter Taman Impian Jaya Ancol (TIJA), you have to pay entrance ticket. Inside TIJA you'll find Dunia Fantasi (Dufan) provides some games and simulation adventures, you have to pay seperate ticket too. Up north of Dufan, you'll find Seaworld, yet another ticket you have to pay. Have fun. Both all are in the same complex.....which called Ancol Amusement Park 1 day will not be enough... Dunia Fantasy is like small disneyland....that alone will be have your one day time....plus the sea world, water adventure, beach and seafood restaurant....add one more day to enjoy it all check this out: http://www.jakartaexpat.com yes they are in same place,, but i think 1 day isn't enough if you wanna enjoy all of them,, especially dufan dont forget to try the tornado! |
