Which immunizations will I need for Indonesia? |
Travel Info Which immunizations will I need for Indonesia? Travel Tips None is strongly required, so you can ask your doctor about this. But some common shots for SE Asia are: Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Malaria, Rabies, Typhoid and Measles. I personally would suggest Typhoid cause the food and water quality in Indonesia have caused a lot of problems with the foreigners due to the lack of sanitation control. Others Check out the CDC site, they have that sort of info for wherever you're going: http://www.cdc.gov/travel/seasia.htm... That totally depends on where in Indonesia you want to go. I've been a tourguide all around Indonesia for 9 years and had to inform my tourists (mainly Dutch) on different immunizations for different islands/areas. You may send me an email if you know your destination. all the japs you can have. I went to Indonesia (Bali) and didn't need immunization for that particular place, however, we were going from there to Vietnam and we did need to get immunized for Malaria. If you are buying your trip through a travel agency they should tell you what you need for your trip, however, if your trip is really near in time, then maybe you shouldn't get immunized, my doctor told me that sometimes vaccines make you more vulnerable because some of them lower your defenses, so if the trip is really close it might be even more risky to get the vaccine than not have it. I think You need to take immunization that prevent from dengue cause it quit dirty there all |
