Surabaya is so hot! But they do have incredible shopping malls that you will never get tired of.

Hot city but there's a lot of yummy food there......
Rujak cingur, tempe penyet, etc
Can't really say much about Surabaya, there's nothing that spectacular there at all. If you've been to Jakarta, it's exactly like that with hotter weather and less attractions to see. Sorry mate for sounding so negative about it.
