Have you been to Lake Toba, Indonesia before? |
Travel Info Just wondering...cos I was there with my family in 1989. The lake was so HUGE. I couldn't believe that it was a supervolcano million of years ago. Travel Tips I just came home from Lake Toba few days ago. It`s a very interesting place, I love it very much. and the island in the middle of Lake Toba is awsome too, the Samosir island Source(s): // Other Travel Tips Yes. Last time was a month ago. Still beautiful and serene. The kids still very eager to learn new things. No, I've never been there but I heard it's very popular with tourists. Yes, but it's not from millions of years ago. I've been there like 10 times or something. I've been there 3 times. As you said, the lake was huge, and there is a small island in the middle of the lake call Samosir Island. It's true that Lake Toba was created after the supervolcano eruption a million years ago. It is one of my favorite touristic places in Indonesia. |
