Some of them are stupid, some of them are more stupid to think they are not stupid. Once you mention which part of white people that is good, I can tell you the bad part in return; once you said the bad part of Chinese, I can tell you the good one in return. This game is useless and pretty stupid. The only way to jump out this loop is don鈥檛 make this a racial problem. 2. Who should be responsible for today鈥檚 situation in Indo? As an example: If you walk on the street and bitten by a dog, will you bite the dog back or go for the dog鈥檚 owner? Indo鈥檚 presidents are responsible for this entire messy problem with racism. In Indo鈥檚 history, there was no Chinese people become a president. There will not be either. Chinese in Indo are not all good, not all are bad. So is this the best Indo gov鈥檛 can do? Why don鈥檛 you say that Indo gov鈥檛 does have wisdom to solve this problem? When problem comes, it鈥檚 easier to blame than face it. This is what I think about Indo now. Blaming others only makes you feel better, and then, come on, after that you still have to accept what it is. If you don鈥檛 agree with me, fine, bite the dog back when you got bitten. Others i may say yes and no. ive been in indonesia and stayed there for a long period of time. i have chinese friends and indonesian friends. i observed the discrimination to both sides. chinese are richer than indonesian. i have a chinese friend who owns a restaurant, all her staffs are indonesians, the way she treated the staffs turns me off, but i kept it to myself. indonesia is for indonesians not for chinese, and its sad to learn that indonesians because of lack of education, chinese are taking advantage to them. one time there was a revolution and i was there during that period, i saw how indonesians raided the chinese establishment, how chinese women being brutally hurt, its already a delicate matter to discuss. chinese have their own beliefs, chinese when they go to indonesia they found out that indonesia is best for business. indonesians most of them are jobless and they will grab the opportunities , just to earn for a living. indonesians are very nationalistic. i admired indonesians because of their being a low profile personality. i have nothing against to the chinese nationality. even in the philippines, chinese are dominat figure, pertaining to businesses. own experience and opinion I don't know if hate is the right word but there is a lot of resentment of chinese Indonesians because they are seen to be much richer than the non chinese and to unfairly control a lot of local business. Please note that the Chinese are "true" indonesians as well being born having been born and lived there for many generations. Lived in Indonesia for almost 2 years. no I believe that nobody in Indonesia would like to discriminate true Indonesian and Chinese community people. I have both friends from both sides. Though it's true in some way that Chinese people in Indonesia are generally wealthier than Indonesians themselves, but this is also due to their hard working attitude. If you really observe, wealthy Indonesians are not just few of them. Discriminations are always there, coming from all over the places since they were born. When can they live side by side in peace like Singapore or Malaysia? It's just a dream. True Indonesian may hate Chinese community but see how these statements change your opinion. Most biggest opportunities are prioritized to true Indonesians. Powerful positions in the government are given to true Indonesians. Less chances for Chinese. So who hates who? Like it or not, they need each other. |
