Do Canadian Citizens require a tourist visa to enter Bali Indonesia ? |
Travel Info I know some nationalities do and some don't - anyone have the correct information ? If I need a visa I'd rather get one before I leave than stand in lines in Denpasar... Travel Tips Yes, you do need a visa. But Canada is on the list of countries that may apply for a visa on arrival (VOA). So, you can fly to Bali and join the queue at the airport at the VOA counter. Queue plus visa process goes quick (15 min), so no worries. 1. Your passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 (six) months from the date of entry into Indonesia 2. Onward or return tickets are compulsory (They might check if you have a flight out. If you don't have proof of a flight out, they make you buy it on the spot - expensive). 3. 7 days visa: US$ 10.00 per person - 30 days visa: US$ 25.00 per person happy travels! Source(s): international tourguide - frequent visitor of Indonesia Other Travel Tips Citizens of member nations of Asean (Association of South East Asian Nations) don't. I believe all other nations' citizens have to have visas. yes..u need visa... u can have visa on arrival in bali airport.. its $10 for 1 week and 25$ for 1 month visa.. have a nice trip in bali -traveller gurl- I believe we don't need a visa to enter Indonesia by air and by sea. As long as you have an onward ticket and a valid passport, visa will be granted at the port of entry. Holders of a valid Canadian passport may obtain their tourist visa upon arrival at most major airports and seaports, but travellers should check with the nearest Indonesian embassy prior to arrival. Travellers who are entering by land must obtain a visa prior to arrival at an Indonesian embassy or consulate. The cost of a three-day visa is US$10 and a 30-day visa is US$25. Travellers should arrive with the appropriate amount in U.S. dollars. All U.S. dollar bills must have been issued after 1999 and be in good condition. Visas may be extended in exceptional circumstances only (e.g. illness, natural disaster). I recommend Boracay in the Philippines for your next travel. Have fun!!!! www.voyage.gc.com |
