Is Jogjakarta safe to visit?

I want to know is jalan malioboro is safe to visit? I heard its still under recovery after the quake that happen months ago.

Jogja is safe now. Still under recovery on South of Jogjakarta, but Malioboro and many tourism objects ok to visited. I stay at Jogja.

Others
its safe landwise, just the hotels might not be so nice since they r just small ones just built. but be aware of the culture shock of not whereing a burkah
it's ok to visit jogjakarta.... reccovered but still not full....but u wont get a cosy accomodation here. but the peoples here is nice....
its pretty much safe for visit now after the quake .. been there myself. Many nice people & lots of ethnic merchandise...
