When are High Season & Low for airlines? |
Travel Info I'm looking for low airline prices to go to Indonesia or Singapore from NY. Travel Tips High Season in Indonesia 1. a week before and after Hari Raya Lebaran 2. a week before and after Christmas 3. School holiday during June-August and December In Singapore 1. Christmas and Chinese New Year ( December and February) 2. School holidays The rest would be low season. Recommendation: September-November and March to June. Jakarta, Indonesia is having floods now, please visit Jakarta after March for safety reason. Others Now would be a low season. Summer would be a high season. Happy trails. high season= March(spring vaca), December, January, november low- february, may , august, july, june I'm not sure how to answer your question. For airlines the High & Low are depend on both place your departure place and arrival. I don't know when american people choose for holiday so I can't help you with that part. However for Indonesian our High season start around end of june/ early july to late august/early septemter. and around 15 Dec-8 Jan. Sorry can't be more exact but that's the time when Bali most crowded. (schools holiday) in a daily season (Monday to Sunday)... All schedule on Weekend or Holiday, Monday morning, and Friday night are high season. Why don't you try to book in Tuesday or Thursday? It's a quite cheap fare... |
