You just have to go and wait in line. You can not reserve online. Just go to Gambir station and buy it there and I am sure you will get the ticket. Better you take flight from Jakarta to Yogyakarta. It is quiet easier and sometimes the price is the same with train. And offcourse saving time. Ony 45 minutes flight. You can choose budget airline (Air Asia, Lion Air, Mandala, Merpati, Adam Air).
