Travel Info Y? And what is it mean?? Travel Tips Putri is a girl's name and it means princess. It's a VERY common name there. The most people just improvise their child's name, thinking that it's kind of ''cool'', I suppose, which is not at all! Lucky me, I don't have an improvised name, such as ''Merciana'' (a friend of mine), she's just called Merci, which means ''thank you'' in French. I don't like such names. Minah which is actually a middle eastern name meaning blue. In Bali, names are repeated, the first born in named Wayan, second Made, third Nyoman, fourth Ketut and then if there are more they add Balik. Balinese also have other names that they might use in business or to be cool, but when I was in Bali once a tour guide with 2 brothers explained it to me (He was Yan, the oldest) and it's the same name male or female (we were both Wayan). But Putri is a really, really common name with Indonesian women. My name is Ira, but I don't know what it means. :p My mom name's Nurhayati. It means the light of life. Sumarnie for gals. Mas Robin for guys. Putri for female Raden for male in bali they name their kids by order of birth 1st wayan gede juliani, 2nd made 3rd nyoman 4th ketut and then its repeated i love juliani and ketut and also wayan is very nice |
