There are family villas to luxury ones. Villa Lumbung in Seminyak is like in the middle range and charged me $2,500 for a month (that's cheaper than hotel, and more spacious) but they have regular pricing $1,000/week-- more expensive for shorter terms. If you travel in group, 4 br villas are definitely the best way to go, unless you want to stay in not so good motels. Say, for a villa will cost you USD2,000/week that's only $250 per person a week!
