Translation rates: Indonesian-English?

Travel Info
The expatriate church called up and asked me to translate a document in Indonesian, about fourteen pages long, single-spaced, into English, double-spaced. (Indonesian is about 33% longer than English). I live in Indonesia and speak both Indonesian and English as my native tongue, and although English is widely understood my ability to write a translation into English--including excellent grammar and translation of expressions--is quite rare. Please note: the translation I'm asked to do contains a lot of spiritual vocabulary, so it is quite specialised.

The church asks me how much I would charge them for the work. Can you please give me an idea, how much does such a translation cost per page, or per word, in your area. Rupiah (no, not Rupee) would be mostly helpful but I don't mind answers in US Dollars, AU Dollars, GB Pound, or Euro.

Travel Tips
u should be free of charge., But if u wanna charge, just charge them 50 US cents per english page.
consider it as a charity to the church.

I am sorry, but I do not have an answer for you. It sounds like quite an undertaking though, and I wish you the best luck with it.
Translation rate from English to Indonesian is Rp. 50,000 to Rp. 150,000 per page A4, Time New Roman 12 double space. This is the common rate in Jakarta. Sworn translator charge somewhat the same.

Oral translation simultaneously and/or consecutively Rp. 1,000,000 to Rp. 8,000,000 depending on experience and client.

Honestly, since it is for the chruch... 14 pages are not worth charging.
Im a stringer, interpreter and translator in Jakarta
In US dollars $500
Hi there....
I work as a freelancer translator (english to indonesia)...using a special translation software to count the same words.
New word: USD .03/word
Same word: USD .008/word
Just for your rough idea...my other company pays an English speaking editor Rp 500/word (only for editing not translating).
I hope you have a real good vocab on "spiritual" terms ... let me know if you need some help...I'll be glad to help specially for church purposes (with no charge to certain extent)
God bless
a few months back, i asked a small translation service at jkt and they charged 50.000 per page (single space). i think it's quite cheap compared to the others. plus, most places charge, like, 3000 per page just for typing service.
