Is menorca a good holiday for children? |
Travel Info We are going to menorca next year with 2 children and would like to know where are good resorts to take children, as we don't want them getting bored! Travel Tips I live in Spain and have visited Menorca on various occasions. It's a wonderful place for children, anywhere on the island has perfect beaches, it's quieter than Majorca and less touristy too. You'll have a great holiday. Check out this web site: www.menorca-net.co.uk Others menorca just like all the spanish islands is very family orientated Children should not be brought to commercialised foreign holiday ressorts, as it damages their sense of personality and their natural bonding with family, friends and home country. If its a family hotel/resort that accepts children then yeah. Most holiday destinations nowa days accpet children and makes it fun for all the family. As long as there is a pool or a beach with an ice cream vendor then they should be happy. I went to Menorca when i was about 12 and I loved it, i made tons of friends round the pool. and there was the best pizzaria in the world in Menorca, i can still remember the thin crust.. mmmm I'm hungry now. We stayed in Cala n Forcat in Menorca and it's perfect for children. There is a water park and almost every bar or restaurant on the main street has trampolines, bouncy castles, dodgems etc! The beach is very safe and the sea is clear and calm. I work in the tourist industry, and I study tourism in the nearby island Mallorca, and Menorca is known as a family destination, so I think is a very good place for children. Out of the five islands by far is the best for children |
