How much spending money to take to ibiza? |
Travel Info I am going to ibiza for a week in may staying in san antonio town. I have never been to a 'big' resort before and need to know how much spending money i'll need to take? I'm not really up 4 the big clubs might go 2 one so will mainly be staying in the west end and sunset bu, the girls and i r big drinkers and don't like goin to bed too early! lol I'm thinkin about takin 拢500, too much or too little??? Travel Tips Depends when in May you are coming because other than Pacha and maybe Es Paradis the big clubs don't normally open till the first week in June. If you don't mind the quality of your alcohol make sure you get all the Pr's to offer you free drinks to go in their bars (play them off against each other - she offered me a cocktail what are you going to give me that type of thing! - annoys the hell out of them but works) It麓s cheaper to drink in the west end than the sunset bars but, places like Mambo are more chilled out and less lairy! Depending upon how good a rate of exchange you get 拢500 is about 720鈧?which is 100鈧?a day you can eat out from about 10鈧?a head cheap and cheerful and get bottles of wine from 2鈧?up. Personally I would say it is plenty as drinks here are twice if not three times as big as in the UK so you wont buy as many. Hope you have fun. Source(s): live and work in ibiza Other Travel Tips too little. pawn your mother if you have to, but you can never take too much money on holiday. enjoy. not enough! double that and u mite get away with it. clubs cost a fortune just to get into and dont kid urself that u mite go to 1 or 2 cos at 3 in the mornin theres not a lot else to do. ps dont carry too much money with u as there are lots of thieving scumbags there that work in teams. dont let this put u off but plz be careful and enjoy. never been there as im a metalhead but thats wot all my techno-head mates report year after year. cocktails are around 6鈧? beer's around 3鈧?a pint. Dont go on a rep's bar crawl..you'll throw up!!! Drinks in clubs are treble the above Entry to clubs 25-40 鈧?br /> Pills 5鈧?.............charley 50鈧?a g. dont buy anything from the blackies.............it's a rip off and very bad quality. All in All if your coming over for a week long party bring 拢700-拢1000 Come And say Hi to me ..................i live and work in san an. ps. can you bring some marmite................i'll buy you a drink in return. too little. 500 dollars is less than 500 euros.... and believe me, in ibiza, u'll spend much more than 500 euros. u wont find a place where an alcoholic drink costs less than 6鈧?. most places u gotta pay entrance.. which might be 20-40 euros..... i'd take about 800 dollars.... or 1000 just in case...... ibiza is expensive |
