Has anybody been to Tenerife? If so, have you stayed at Santa Barbara Golf and Ocean Club? |
Travel Info Ok, so I am going to be staying there in January. I just want to know what this place is like. Does it really smell? What sort of transportation did you use there? Should I rent a car or just go to places by taxi? What are some general tips you can give for anyone who is going to be in tenerife? Thanks, any advice will be appreciated. Travel Tips it's a very nice complex. the island doesn't smell. i would recommend you hire a car as where you will be staying is quite away from the main tourist attractions and nightlife! but get to your complex first,taxis are not that bad shouldn't cost you more than 15euros from airport,then check what services reception offers you,as lots of the attraction have free buses which will pick up near you,so decide what you want to do before deciding on hiring a car.i recommend you take an island tour first,then take a car to go back to places you want to see more of.buy a map and tour guide as soon as you get there,there's loads do see and do,when on island tour ask the rep's opinion on some things.whatever you do don't drink and drive!it's too dangerous there,if going out at night and you want to save money,go to night club area Playa De Las Americas by bus and get taxi home! Others i have been there i just stayed at the hotel taxis are too costly there |
