Has anyone been to Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria on hols? |
Travel Info My mate and I have booked our 2 week holiday in Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria and we are sooooo excited. Has anyone been to this resort? We'll be there for the first 2 weeks in July...! The sad thing is I haven't had a holiday for 3 years, so really want to know the great restaurants, bars, etc. Also, if you're a cute guy who's going to be there at the same time, let me know where you're staying!! LOL!! Travel Tips we went about 5 years ago and stopped at the hotel half way up the hill with the big boat in lights outside, the hol was fab!!! we went to the metro bar alot which is up top, when we went they did a quiz each nite where if you got a question right you got a free shot, then later on you could either nominate someone to have the shot or take it yourself, it was 3 shots for the nominee and it was a good way to meet people and get tiddly...watch out for the black ones though!! we also got stopped by timeshare and was taken to this place with a heart shaped island for the day... we had meals and drinks paid for and got a bottle of spirits and some fags as prizes for going and we just said no when they tried to flog us a timeshare. it was lovely...the beach is nice but if its hot its a walk up and down the hill. Others I hope you can cope with HILLS..this resort is hilly yes its lovely and is amazing for snorkling - its a must! U dont have to go that far to be swimming amongst the fish. My friend works there he is cute but unfortunately is as gay as they come and his flat mate is a tranny. So no point in giving u his number....lol U will have a ball though! enjoy..... wish i was going!!!!! loadsa good bars above the shops and the scandivavians use ski poles to help walk up the hills!! I went a few years ago and had a great time. Watch out for the sun though, as the ultra violet is a lot stronger then other holiday deatinations and you'll burn without even noticing it.
