However, do not screw around with security, it is tight. There are 4 air marshals on each flight, all heavily armed, and their wepaons are concealed, and they dont have like a fancy uniform or anything, they blend in. The pilots are usually ex- Israeli Air Force pilots, so they are very experienced. The el al planes all have chaff and flare defense subsystem to counter the firing infra-red or radar missles. These security measures make el al the safest flight in the world. If the ground security sees anything suspicious from you, they will pull you into a special room to interrogate you. it wont matter if u know hebrew and try to prove u are Israeli, you must come up with a list of phone numbers to prove you arent a terrorist.
