The people there, just like anywhere else in the world are different, but they are great! If you are thinking of visiting there, I would say it's a definite "Do not miss" !! Israel is not save because of the conflict with Palestinian . because, israel occupied this land . My sister-in-law has lived in Israel for 20 years and she loves it there. She's never been worried about her safety, has many friends there, and will only be moving back to the states in a year because she must retire. She lives alone and has no other family over there, so wants to be closer to family in her "old age". I've never had the chance to go there myself, but she tells me it's a lovely place. She lives in Jerusalem. One of the nicer things about living there is closer access to other places of interest in Europe and the Middle East.
