If I travel overseas for an extended period of time to Israel, and I am American, can I find a job there? |
Travel Info To work while I study, etc. Travel Tips Don't mind all the Israel haters that gather in this forum. We need to learn to ignore them. Anyway if you come on a tourist visa you cannot work. If you do want to work, legally of course, you need to apply for a work permit. Due to the large number of illegal foreign workers it might be a bit risky to work illegally. You could apply for a student visa but you need a confirmation of the institute you plan to study in, proof you paid you tuition fees and also proof you have enough money to live. You could be a voluteer in a kibbutz, that needs also a visa . Others why would you go there? DO NOT COME HERE, TO ISRAEL !! :-) People who live in Israel are looking to leave.. and YOU want to come here !! How pathetic ! lol . sorry, but its really bad how you all dont know anything about israel and at the same time still willing to visit/move to! . anyway, if you still willing to come I can help you find a job .. But if You visit some places of Israel like Tel-Aviv or Eilat, you can find some job in the pubs or restaurants on the sea line, that serve tourist from the world.This work not be legal but you can try. |
