It's such a hassle to get into the country, Even for Americans. You have to wait for hours at the border and get forms filled out and get inspected and get all your stuff inspected.

They may give you a hard time, especially if you are a younger male.

Be careful and don't do anything stupid and give them a reason to imprison you.

egyptians mostly wellcome in israel because israel is an democratic country but unfortunatly israelies are not wellcomed in Egypt.
I'm Egyptian girl and i met an Israeli ppl in Bangkok and they invited me to Israel they was very nice and treat me with respect,but welcome you is nt the prob the prob is how u can get the visa!
I do not see why not. You will be sent into a long line at the airport questioned and searched as many others will, but no big deal. They will ask you why you are visiting Israel, where you intend to go, etc.. I am an American with family in many different parts of the country, so if I venture into the occupied territories, things can get hectic and scary, but if you are going to just see the historic religious sites and such, you should be fine.
