Travel Tips Not only have I had conversations but she is one of my best friends. My messianic Jewish friend took me to Israel--we had a wonderful time. Just because she is messianic (believes that Jesus is the messiah) does not make her any less a Jew. In fact--she is doubly blessed if you ask me. In our conversations she expresses how much the scriptures and Jewish religious traditions become more alive and real to her. She is no longer waiting for her messiah--he has come and so she enjoys the fruits of a relationship with Yeshua (Jesus) while celebrating her Jewsih roots. After all --Jesus is a jew. It does not matter that Jews do not recognize messianic Jews. They break their own laws by judging anothers heart and further they can't just erase the fact these messianic Jews have experienced the same history as their brothers and sisters--including the Holocaust. My trip to Israel with my messianic friend opened up the meaning of this holy place better than anyone else could. Others There is no such thing as a messianic Jew. A person cannot be Jewish and believe in the Messiah. They are actually Christians whether they admit it or not. The Jewish religion will no longer recognize them as Jews. they will not talk to a Christian in case they find the truth they are also very rude people, i remember I was in Jerusalem in 202 just by the wailing wall, and one put a ribbon on my wrist tied it before I could say anything then asked for 5 shekels for the peace offering I said you take a tract off me and I will give you ten, he yanked the ribbon off my wrist cutting my wrist in the process, when i reported him for grevious bodily harm to a young police girl , you think it was the end of the world, me reporting him, so how was my conversation those people are not worth the time of my day,sorry , what excactly is a messianic jew????/, cannot be, if you mean the ones that get paid to study the bible to find faults with it, no never have, and never want to. not really fair I do not think they are allowed to use the computer, so they can not defend themselves on here poor things, A messianic Jew is a Christian by virtue of their messianic beliefs/Jesus. Therefore, such a conversation would be between two Christians. Messianic Jew= A person who attends the synagogue, follows jewish customs, keeps a jewish household but believes in Jesus as the Messiah. Jews always claim that messianic jews are really christians which is an untrue accusation. I have met messianic jews and they are not really christians facading as jews with the attempt to convert jews. I am so sick of jews having such a false belief of messianic jews. First hand experience. |
