Will you give back the Golan Heights to Syria for eternal Peace with the Syrians? |
Travel Info I have a feeling you will curse all Arabs and muslims once you see this question...fine go ahead, let me see. Travel Tips If we give back the Golan Heights to the Syrians we can start digging our own graves. The Golan provides Israel with precious water, keeps the Syrians at bay, and a good strategic point. Before the Golan became part of Israel the Syrians would fire rocket into Israel on daily basis. Once, it fell into Israeli control the firing of the rockets stopped. I hope that Israel will never give them away. Others I'm German and muslim, and I don't think Israel will give the Golans back to Syria. Ever. The reason: Whoever controls the Golans, controls both Israel and Syria. So in the mindset of the Middle East, having the Golans is worth much more than a peace treaty with Syria. (You probably know the saying: Papers have patience. Waepaons don't need it.) if u need peace then go back to pre 1967 borders. Well, I don't know how we could help you. Maybe you should ask the government. Wow, I have a feeling you were assuming that people would curse Arabs and muslims. Real classy, that last statement of yours. As for the question, absolutely not! We won the Golan Heights fair and square. They're the source of most of our country's precious drinking water and also serve as a valuable strategic location, which, if it were to fall under Syrian control, would put all of northern Israel into harm's way. I wouldn't, if it were up to me. If I knew that the Syrians are truly into the peace idea with Israel, I'd let them visit the Golan Heights as much as they want to, but it would still belong to Israel. Wars happen, and land gets annexed, what country (besides Israel) ever gave land back? That is insane. simply put I would never trust the Syrians enough to give back the Golan Heights. Even if this current leadership wanted to make peace I cannot trust what will happen 50 years down the road. Israel was able to make a peace treaty with Jordan without losing the West Bank. They were also made peace with Egypt without seceding Gaza. Why can it not do the same with Syria when it comes to the Golan? Oh also I would not curse at you. I have no reason to do so |
