Living in the Middle East, I feel I can answer this but not without stating that there are no easy answers such as yours. I know first hand that the Israeli Gov is brutal in how they treat and respond to Palestinians. They say it's because they injury the innocent with bombs while others say they respond the only way they can against a cruel interloper. Both sides make major mistakes and never say they are sorry or try to make things right. The Israeli gov has stripped away all the freedoms of daily life from the Pals such as land, voting, free passage, working. It was not so Long ago that these very same atrocities were committed against Jews all across Europe (East and West). How short their memories seem sometimes. Let's all start with a little understanding, I believe they call it empathy and let's try to keep the woman and children out of the conflict (I speak to both sides) as they are not involved. You think you have to blow something up because you don't agree with the gov. then don't blow up a market or school go to the gov. office and direct your anger at them. You think a militant is hiding in a house them surround the house and allow the women and children to come out before attacking rather than dropping a bomb on the whole apartment building. Think people think!
I'm sad to say I have no answers only observations...
the only falafel i know are the ones you eat, crushed beans and herbs made into round balls and deep fried, taste good too ! some are stuffed with grated fried onions, chilli or meat ! :) in alexandria they are called falafel, in cairo tameya :)
