Now - March 2007 - is there shuttle van service from hotels to airprort/airport to hotels?

Travel Info
Some sites say #222 bus. Some sites say #222 not running.
Any alternatives to taxi? Is taxi fare still fixed rate of US$30 airport to central Tel Aviv? Any info appreciated. Thanks.

Travel Tips
Two cheaper alternatives to taxi are to either: catch a sheirut at the aiport (shared taxi van) or to take a train from the airport to whichever city you want to go to (train ride is fairly cheap) and then taking a cab/bus from the train station to your hotel. Hope this helps.

Others
Well, that all depends on where you are.

Some hotels offer a shuttle service and some don't.

Most major hotels in major citites offer a shuttle service, but the less expensive ones do not.

As far as cab fare, that differs from city to city and state to state.

Some cab fares will be less expensive because of lower economy and some will be more expensive because of a higher economy.

You need to be more specific in your question.

This is very generalized.
Uh, I'm a U.S. citizen. DUH!
