Are Israelis excited about the Jewish Baseball league? |
Travel Info I think it's cool that US can export/promote Baseball to the Middle East I heard that the rules are mostly the same, but, if the score is the same after 7 innings, it'll go to a homerun contest...........that's cool! Travel Tips They may well be. I hope that the Jews respect the Palestinians. Others I know several American Israelis that are excited about the IBL. Its going to take a while (if ever) for the sport to catch on in the general population. Personally I am looking forward to how they will do in the next world baseball classic. Never know there is one (or going to be one, for that matter...) I'm happy to hear about it! I dig Baseball! Most Israelis have no idea that its happening, and if they do they're likely indifferent. As a baseball fan, it is unfortunate that the only two sports that carry any weight in Israel are Basketball and Football (Soccer). |
