I am an Israeli and I can tell you that the world media is distorting the truth and always present IDF as vicious brutal conquerors.

They do it not because they hate Israel but rather 'cause it sells better.
Even the Israeli press is unbalanced and tends to present a picture which suits the left, often criticizing the army for being "too aggressive" and being very empathic for the Palestinians suffering.
