I have to go to the Israeli Army but i am thinking to go to collage first? |
Travel Info should I go 1st to the army or to college? Travel Tips I think it depends on your future plans. If you plan on moving to Israel for good, then I recommend joiing the army first. If you plan on staying in the US then I think you should consider going to college first, although I could see several advantages to joining the Israeli army before you go to college: 1) Your commitment, at most, is only 2 years, which isn't sooo much time if you think about it. 2) You might feel a personal level of satisfaction/obligation to serve Israel. 3) Your experience in the army, especially if you become an officer, will look tremendous later on when you apply for jobs and schools as it will give you real life experience and leadership experience. 4) It will give you time to decide exactly what you want to do when you finish the army. 5) You might have some technical training in the army that could come in very handy in the future. Many successful people in Israel's hi-tech industry, for example, began their relevant education in hi-tech related fields during their army service. Good luck with whatever you decide!! Others but in Israel, are you not required to join the army? Fip a shekel. Good luck with that. Given the hatred that all others in your region seem to have for you, the Israeli army is the last place I'd wanna be. College first! definatly! Education is key to everything in life! And if anyone gives you crap about being israeli don't listen to them, because half of them don't know what they're talking about, israel is part of the american allies. proud israeli descent Before applying anywhere, be sure to spell the word "college" correctly (ref. your headline). |
