What did Olmert do that has everyone so upset? |
Travel Info I read it has something to do with his handling of the war, but I don't find any details about what he did or didn't do. I like him and find it hard to believe he did anything so bad as to want him removed from office. What is the rest of the story on this one? Travel Tips He went to war against the advice of his best advisors and on the weak grounds of the kidnapping of a mere 2 soldiers. The price paid by Israelis was high. The slaughter he created in Lebanon is and remains unacceptable. Others He lost the war with Hezbollah...The fourth strongest army in the world could not defeat a organization such as Hezbollah...Israel with the latest weapon technologies could not defeat people who were fighting with Katusha rockets...How many people think right now that Israeli army can win a war?Not so many as before the Lebanon war... Israel had two goals:to free the soldiers and destroy Hezbollah.They reached none...Destroying the infrastructure of a country and killing 1000 civilians is not a victory... He hadn't a clue how to run a country and how to fight a war. But worst of all, he did not consult the experts. . He did not accomplish the objectives for going to war. His response was ill-conceived. He proved to the Israelis that Israel can no longer be saved by a military power. Israeli next wars are bad news for Israeli civilians as well with Olmert or Barak as PM. PPL hate facts and real life situations. Peace is the only way out for Israel. he can't lead the freaking country... people are upset because he did not handle the Lebanon war very well Yes , well how disappointing for you all that your Army " didn't finish the job " as you put it & completely anihiliate Lebanon ! You should hear yourselves ! Your attitude is totally insensitive & disgusting ! Not the way people who are civilised should think ! Thank you to those who see the stupidity of his actions , are not war mongers & don't claim that might is right ! |
