Yes, the other answers are correct - they think it should be Moshiach who forms Israel.

These people won't pay taxes, they won't go in the army, they still refer to the place as Palestine - and most of them smell!

I have walked through their neighbourhood in Jerusalem and it's disgusting. These people are not materialistic - they don't look after their homes or streets, all they want to do is study.

I have seen many of them leaving public toilets without washing their hands and most of the men are cheating on their wives - yet they have the cheek to tell me I can't drive my car on a Saturday. Sometimes they even throw rocks at cars.

They remind me a bit of the meshugganah Iraqis.

yes there are, Neturei Karta.the ones who met with ahamadinjad in Iran? they believe that only when the messiah comes will israel be rebuild and until then jews are not supposed to live there, let alone be a county with the name israel. yet some of them do live in israel (go figure!) but hey refuse to speak hebrew.

There are religious Jewish sources that say that a Jewish country should not be established in Israel until the messiah comes. As such, they are against a Jewish country. More than that, often times they believe that Zionism is the cause of many of the Jews' problems. However, only the very extreme groups would go so far as to support arab terror or visit Iran's anti-Holocaust conference.

not all chasidim are for example i am a chasid and i am studying in israel next year. some chasidim believe we should let mashiach come on its own
