Is it true that holocaust survivors living in Israel are? |
Travel Info starving and moving to Germany? http://www.forward.com/articles/netanyah... Travel Tips I haven't heard of anyone moving to Germany, but some holocaust survivors are going hungry here. They get by with extremely little, don't have enough money to pay for medications and so forth. It's important to remember that not all holocaust survivors are in this situation, but an overwhelming number is, and it's our responsibility to take care of them. There was a demonstration to raise awareness on Kaf-Vav Nisan (14th of April) in Tel Aviv [I couldn't make it...] and I heard a couple more are being planned until the government takes action. No Jew wants to have ANYTHING to do with Germany. We'd die before we went back. That article is a couple of years old. Some survivors do not live as well as they should, but I did not hear anything about them going back to Germany. NO! not true at all! They are not starving.What the heck? Survivors live in many all over the world. i know that some have a hard life but i don't think they will move to Germany! |
