Visit to Knesset?

Travel Info
My roommates and I are planning to visit Israel next spring, around Purim. I heard that it is possible for tourists to watch the Knesset in session. Is this true? Also, since I am the only one of us who understands Hebrew, are there headphones that provide simultaneous English translations?

Travel Tips
The Knesset offers guided tours (in Hebrew, Arabic, English, French, Spanish, German, Russian, Amharic, Yiddish, and Finnish) for the larger public on Sundays and Thursdays between the hours of 8:30AM-2:30PM.
For both groups and individuals, one must call and arrange their guided tour in advance.

One may observe the Knesset sessions from the public gallery on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Groups must call and arrange this visit; individuals may arrive directly with their identity cards or passports Source(s): http://www.knesset.gov.il/tour/eng/evisi...
Other Travel Tips
If you get a chance to spit in Olmert's face, or throw an egg at him, please do so. If they try to arrest you you just tell them that I hypnotized you into doing that. I'll take the blame :))))

P.S. I love Israel, but cannot stand it's current elected officials.
I'm not sure, maybe if it will be an organized visit..
Yes some knesset sessions are open to the public but all it is is alot of overgrown children fighting with each other :) You may get a laugh, though (don't get me wrong I live in Israel and love it, but I agree with the guy who doesn't like the current government). I really don't know about the simultaneous English translations. But don't worry there really isn't much worth understanding :)
Can't wait to see you in Israel, the greatest country in the world!!!
Yes you can see the Knesset in session but I it is not that interesting.

Most of the time you will see 7 or 8 MK's with one speaking about a particular bill so he can get it on the record with the Knesset floor.
