Are Israeli Arabs happier than those in the Palastinian Authority? |
Travel Info Personal experience is the best way to answer this. I am not looking for a definitive answer. Travel Tips Yes, they are friends with everyone and like living there. Others Think of it this way, if Israeli Arabs weren't happier to live inside Israel (compared with living under the rule of the PA), then they would move to those areas under administration by the PA. Yes much happier and healthier OK, OK, before "marks" get here, I will say it for them : Izrail illigaly occupies Arab land. Palastine was never part of Izrail. Palastinians are oppressed by Izrailiz every day. Izrailiz keep Palastinians in poverty and starvation. Izrail killz innocent Palastinians every day. This one is for mark and others like him. I hope I saved them some time. :)))) I love the Jewish people and will be prayin for peace. I don't know if they'd express it, but I think there's no doubt that their life is better Israel than it would be under the Palestinian Authority. EDIT: marky my boy, if only your revisionist history were true. The arabs of pre-state Israel certainly did not "invite" any Jews fleeing the Nazis a nice safe bed. Actually, because of the arab riots of the 20's and 30's and the political push against Jewish immigration, Britain closed Israel to Jews fleeing Europe, effectively sealing their doom. All this doesn't change the fact that life is better for Israeli Arabs than those under Palestinian Authority rule. There really isn't any debate, whether they support Israel or not. Israeli arabs have full rights, including advanced healthcare (children were recently flown in from Iraq for neccessary heart treatment that they can't get anywhere else in the area because other hospitals aren't equipped). They have jobs in a vibrant economy with no fear of random gun-battles in the streets. They're better educated, earn more and have a higher quality of life. At this point in time, there is just no comparison. I am truly the only one on this site that can actually really tell you, I am in Palestine right now, I swear to you. In the West Bank the Israelis come into our neighborhoods and cause problems(check us, shoot at things to scare us and if they are mad KILL!) The settlers are near our neighborhood and they never dare leave their pathetic stolen houses. When ever they do they brutally kill any weak person that is alone. The arabs of 48 (as we call them) come to our city for visits.They live in tiny ghettos similar to Comptin and it is harder for them but there isn't as much violence but we all have it bad, but they have more things like malls and cinemas but their concitions are rough. We are probably equal when it comes to being sick and tired of Israel!! |
