Can any body help me for my travel at dead sea, Israel? i m an indian & going to israel for dead sea treatment |
Travel Info i will be at Ben gurian international air port on 23/5/07 (wed) at 5.00 p.m. how can i go to dead sea at least expense is there any bus which goes to neve zohar or ein bokek or near by from Ben gurian int airport? what time? can i get very cheap room with coocking facility at neve zohar or ein bokek or for 15 days? is it possible to get pure indian vegetarian food at israel? any instruction, suggestion for me pl help Travel Tips There is no direct route from the airport to the Dead Sea. You'll have to take an Egged bus (#947) from the airport to the main station in Jerusalem. This bus arrives at the airport all day every 30-40 minutes. I am not sure which bus goes from Jerusalem to En Boqeq (so this is something that I would enquire about at the tourist information at the Airport or in the Jerusalem bus station once you arrive. Alternatively, what I would recommend is to call one of the major hotels in the Dead Sea and ask them which bus routes come from Jerusalem to En Boqeq. They should be able to help you. I am not sure if you can get a cheap room WITH a cooking facility at neve zohar or ein bokek (I highly doubt it). You might be able to get a cheap room, though (although, it depends on what is expensive for you). You can find Indian food in Israel (it will be quite expensive though), but you can absolutely maintain a vegetarian diet there. Israelis eat a lot of vegetables, salads, pastas, falafel, hummus, etc. Others There is no direct bus, but you can travel from Ben Gurion to Jerusalem and from there to Ein Bokek. About rooms, you should check with your travel agent. They generally get the best deals. You can get vegetarian foods, and there are indeed Indian restaurants. More than that I do not know. . |
