Traveling in Israel?

A group of us have decided on going to Israel for about 10 days. The only thing is we dont want to stay in the same place for 10 days. Would it be advisable to maybe fly out to Tel aviv and spend a few days there, hire a car and visit Jerusalem and then Eilat, returning to Tel Aviv for our return flight. Would there be any oher places of interest (including bars) in between these locations and is it easy to find accomodation on a daily basis.

There is so much to do in beautiful Israel!! The only thing against you is the lack of time you have.

I would recommend buying the lonely planet guide book or alernative and looking through all the places you want to see.

Tel Aviv is nice but touristy - Haifa is a great city and you can visit armageddon!

Definately go to Jerusalem and enjoy the Dead Sea, Eilat is a tourist resort but is nice.

But check out the link - that is what I used and found loads to see and do!

Other Travel Tips

I travel there often..best place to stay in Tel Aviv is the Hilton. Sevice is impeccable..kinda pricey but otherwise worth every bean.
You have to try a restaurant in Tel Aviv..called Meatos. No 2. Weizmann .Steak is fab..

Would suggest you take a flight out from Ben Gurion or Ste Dov to Eilat for a couple of days..Hotels there along the front are fantastic. and some decent restaurants...u can email me if you need info.

every body can visit Israel , neither Palestinian that's why Israel is racist country , i was their , then i have Palestinian friend their , i was decided to visit tel Aviva with him and he told me i cant that's why Israel will kill me or take me to the siege its not allowed to enter it .....
you must see tel aviv!!! and jaffa (yafo)!!!
Jerusalem!!! but you find it hard to find a parking place
Eilat is the fun city! it's a vacation city! where everybody who wants to relax go...
the dead sea - it's fun but except of the sea you don't really have anything there (hotels but that's it) - it's an experience for itself
that sounds like a good plan. I would suggest you visit Tiberias. It really is beautiful and has some good bars mon the boardwalk
