Should Mordechai Vanun be allowed to leave Israel now that his Jail time has been served? |
Travel Info He served 18 years for revealing the Nuclear weapons being made in Israel... but he is still banned from leaving Israel. Here is a link to his officail web site. I say he served the time ... for his crime, and believe he should be allowed to move from israel if he wishes too. http://www.serve.com/vanunu/ Travel Tips I am a 100% with you girl. This guy did not kill or harm anybody. He was just telling the truth! How can somebody like Vanun be treated like this in a civilized country? Being captured illegally in Italy? I think the state of Israel is over reacting in this case. What they are afraid off? Please, no offense to any Israelis/Jews! Take care.No. Not as long as he continues to break the law and/or tries to undermine the security of the country. He has served his time... he should be allowed to move from Israel if he wishes too. The USA doesn't hold people here after they served their times... Israel acts on its own set of rules. They are not a democratic country at all... they segregate people from their familes. And they punish all Palestinians with collective Punishment. They suk! He served 18 yrs in a small jail, just to get out to a larger jail cell. Don't u think he earned his freedom after serving his time. As for him being a threat to Israel, after 18 yrs behind bars what new information do u think he knows??? Thank you for the link, it is a good question and all I can do is give it a star. Shalom If he was in jail for all those years that must mean that he is a bad person. He should go some where else to cause trouble. |
